Dubai Metro
I just arrived home from Dubai Mall. Went there to see the grand opening of Dubai Metro and I can say I had some excellent time. Will post some photos soon.
The Dubai ruler His Highness Sheikh Mohammed has pressed the button who powered this modern transit system, starting with tomorrow Dubai Metro is open for public, anyone in Dubai is invited to give a try, true that the fares table looks pretty complex to read.
At 21:09, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed inserted a ticket (he purchased with his own cash, a 10AED note) in the gate followed with a "tsunami" of applause from the public present at the event.
So happy to be an Emirati national, I am proud of my country!
